“如果你不爱美国，你为何不滚出去！”










在夏威夷渡假的佩琳和宅男老公“踏德”穿着舒适的T恤在沙滩上晒太阳，返朴归真，并不躲避媒体的跟踪, 又一次被电视新闻媒体拍到身穿爱国服装的平民形象。

第一天，佩琳先穿了印有““如果你不爱美国，那你为何不滚开！”的T恤和写着麦肯名字的垒球帽，但佩琳用马克笔涂掉了麦肯的名字。意识到“文字”是敏感的东西，佩琳夫妇马上换了T恤，佩琳也把印有麦肯名字的帽子扔了。

前副总统候选人兼州长佩琳在竞选时自认为比奥巴马更爱美国，曾把奥巴马和恐怖分子连在一起，还置疑少年奥巴马在某体育活动（健身）中心所用过的“出生证明”是非美国国籍等等，在反对奥巴马的选民心理制造了不少不喜欢奥巴马的“理由。”
