6.4 Event in 89 will go down in history as an important milestone for Chinese people to fight for their own freedom and rights, just like 5.4 Event in the early 20 century. Just because it was not successful does not mean that it was useless, or the students' blood was wasted. For a big country like China with no history of democracy, it will take many people's unselfish efforts over decades or more to see its fruits. You are full after eating your last piece of meal; does that mean you would be full with that last piece of meal only? The right question to ask is: what have I done for my country in that regard?
