when it come to CS education. It is generally recognized that SCS has the most vigorous and modernized curriculum and the most hardworking college culture. It's student body is homogenous highly competitive. While SCS has less stellar students than MIT, it also has much less AA students and produces less low quality graduates. What matters is the profile of the student and where he/she fits in. A less competive student could very well graduate from MIT but fail at SCS. Which is ahead which is just personal preference and nothing based on facts.
MIT is more popular but not necessarily better
