him for help. When ZGL did go with him, Liu Bei would need ZGL to proof himself that he was worth the 3 invitation trip. So many things you didn't read in SanGuoZhi didn't mean it didn't happen. Remember, we are reading from a guy writing for the descendent of SiMa. And where is SiMa in SanGuoZhi? So don't say that ZGL was ordinary because he really wasn't.
