Meloni has decided to start sending 400+ Armored Personnel Carriers and Tracked Cargo Carriers to Ukraine. Some of the VCC-1s, M548s and VBL 6x6s will be refurbished and modernized first. Others will be sent straight to Ukraine. 08.10.2025

A large convoy of Italian Army VBL Puma 6x6 armored vehicles was spotted in Prekmurje region, Slovenia. These vehicles are assumed to be heading to Ukraine. Italy has supplied Ukraine with these vehicles earlier, although the transfers were not publicly announced at the time of their delivery.
