80,000 Ton Capacity Floating Dry Dock
In 2012, HEGER developed a complete drawing package and specifications for an 80,000 ton floating dock based on the design requirements of Vigor Marine. The dock was designed to meet the requirements of the US Navy's MIL-STD 1625D and the American Bureau of Shipping. The dock is currently operating successfully in Portland, Oregon.
The dock was constructed in China with HEGER providing post-design consultation. The dock was delivered to Portland, Oregon on a heavy lift ship where it is currently operating successfully.
