per capita in 2014 was US$3698, that is much lower than the Mainland China physical GDP US$6,914 (physical GDP includes industry and agriculture, but excludes service sector; Data source: CIA World Factbook). This indicates that HK is losing competitive ability relative to the mainland. HK lacks basics of economic components, and will drop more over time.
