Could not agree with your points at all.

China has most of the core interests that are different from Russia's but consistent with the USA's. However, some Chinese have short memories of history that over 400 million sq km of lands grabbed by Russians. The States helped China defeat Japs and recovered Taiwan, etc., etc..
