柳潭里5，7团和炮团主力撤回到下竭隅里，得到2天很好的休整，全天候可以吃到热食。而且500多个元山登陆后伤愈的陆战队士兵正好也是这时被飞机送回下竭隅里，都是生力军啊！用陆战一师的记载，12月6号的战斗比柳潭里的还惨烈（除了陆战一师主力基本全在，还有40多辆坦克直接参战 --- 长津湖战役中大规模坦克参战的只发生在下竭隅里，两次，分别是11月30号和12月6号，陈凯歌拍的《长津湖》中志愿军和美军在新兴里坦克大战是忽悠小粉红老粉红票房的）：
