Unlike you, I was born in a village with about 360 people. I remember that people in my village did not want to give the crops to the Guo Jia or Liang Guang Suo.
In addition, each family needed to give Guo Jia a pig which is at least 50 -60 kilograms before the family could slaughter a pig for meat and oil. Most of time, my family gave the smaller pig to Guo Jia and left the bigger one for ourselves. In my observation, all families in my village did the same.
Around 1982, we didn't need to give any pig to Guo Jia any more. So everyone in my family was happy with Deng Xiaoping.
