1）2024-2025 医学院申请人数51,946，为2017-2018年来最低；

2）2024-2025新enroll医学院学生23,048，为历史新高； 

3）这意味着44%的申请者被医学院录取，录取率比想象中高；

4）The new class of students is less racially and ethnically diverse than in recent years: The percentage of first-year enrollees from groups that are underrepresented in medicine (URiM) declined, reversing a decade-long trend. This despite the fact that the numbers of applicants rose among Black or African Americans and among those of Hispanic, Latino, or Spanish origin.
