这些学校都很不一样,建议先去admitted student day参观,再做决定

UCLA: Nice campus, southern California, good weather, big student body. Did she get into CS or math? At UCs, it is very difficult to get into CS classes for someone who is not a CS major. Keep in mind that a joint CS/math major may be primarily a math major, not CS. Also, paying out-of state-tuition for a public school may not be her best bet when she has other, all excellent choices of private schools.

Rice: Very nice campus, small student body, good in CS. Next to the Texas Medical Center, but this may not be a consideration for her. Hot and humid in the summer. If she likes to live in a warm place and hates cold weather, this is a good choice.

Harvey Mudd: Small campus, very small student body, southern California, best in CS among liberal arts colleges. Part of the 5C consortium (Pomona, HMC, Claremont McKenna, Scripps, Pitzer), all next to one another where students may cross-register. Not known in the world; but very well known in the tech industry in the US.

UPenn: Probably the most recognized of all these schools. Good all around. UPenn is particularly known for its business school; many opportunities for personal development if she is to explore these other areas.

Cornell: Probably the best in CS among the Ivyies. Very nice campus, but very cold in the winter. Ithaca is isolated geographically; the airport is tiny. If she does not mind extreme cold weather, this is a good choice. It is an Ivy, after all.
