in elementary and middle school are daily life maths, not scientific maths. Everyone can teach daily life math which is very useful to everyone It is also very fun to learn daily life maths that only the people who are street smart can teach well
it is also misleading to American kids, especially white kids are poor at math. If they are really poor at math these white prople can not be a owner a CEO a scientist a leaders in every fields in the world. White people are very good maths too but in a different way to our Chinese.
