This is a classic case in law school couses. The key issue is whether the money gave out and the wedding ring are considered "gift". If they are, you could not ask back. However, you may prove that you gave out the money and things in exchange of her comong over to U.S., you probably could recover the money. In my opion the rate to win is slim, no more than 50%.
