请大家帮忙: got bill for unauthorized service

I have pool which has not been used for a long time. I am not sure if it leaks so I called a pool service company asking what kind of service is available to check for leakage. I did not make any decision to order any service at that moment. However after a few days, I called back to check their cleaning service, but was told that they have already scheduled a pressure test on that day. I really didn't expect that because I did not authorize any work from them. So I told them immediately to cancel the schedule, but they said they already sent technician to my house (I do not live in there) and could not cancel it. They insisted that I have made the order and hang up the phone on me. Now after a month I received a bill. So I wrote to them immediately to explain what had happened and requested them to cancel my bill. how ever after a few days, i received a letter from a law office to collect the debt. not sure if this letter from law office is before or after they received my disputing letter. So I wrote back telling them I am disputing this charge with the service company. Then three days later, I received a bill from the pool service again , with the description as "To clear account and send to legal". Can friends here advice what I should do next?
