The best help is from insurance company.
You made a left turn and hit by the car in the lane you tried to turn onto. The car was on your left rear. It seems you are at fault no matter you turned on turn signal or not. The other car had the right of the way.
You have to yield the other car and make sure you have enough clearence space before you turn left.
