Asking for you professional ad

Sorry, since I cannot type the Chinese in this machine, sio I have to write in English.

This is a really bad experience happened to my family recently and now we want to sue a lady (J-1 holder) to to protect self:

The case happend two monthes ago, in early August, the lady's hu*****and (J2 holder) did some criminal damage to our property (in public place)and was caught immediately by Policeman. He didn't admit for the criminal at that time and was bonded out from the jail by his wife on the next day. While he was charged as criminal damaging and was required to appear 10 days later. During the waiting process, our family was being bothered and cheated consistently by this couple. Finaly the lady helped her hu*****and escape back to China and they didn't show up in the court. After that, the lay refuse to take the responsibility since her hu*****and left.
So, our question is: can we sue this lady for this criminal too? Since she help the crmininal guy to escape and refuse to take the resposibility, as well as telling the lie and keep on cheating on us...?
