Help for property viloation

Today, I did the laundry in another Apartment complex and I was caught by the lanlord. And he wants to call the police to have me arrested. After some argument with him, finally he hold me my working ID. I do not know how to deal with this. Any suggestions? what is the consequence if he really called the police?
