How to apply for my Chinese parents to visit me in the US?

Sorry that I can't type Chinese on this computer.
I am a US citizen and I'd like to invite both of my parents to visit me here.
I really appreciate if you'd share your experience or knowledge in this regards, such as what kind of papers required and the time it takes.
