学开车还要买保险？否则违法？第一次听说。

儿子得到了学车驾照，想跟我或者到驾校学习开车，好通过路试。没想到，被告知，没有买保险不能学车，无保险学车违法。这是咋回事儿？咋办呢？谢谢答复。
