That's the only way if you want to defend yourself. Just try to find a better one. Usually your ex- should give the evidence to the court, but by what you said, it's hard for her to do so. Anyway, if you didn't do that, just calm down, find a lawyer, ASK the lawyer what he(she) will help you; if you did touch your ex-, it's a lesson for you, but anyway, it's hard for the court to decide if you did or not, maybe mostly depends on you and your ex- past..
