My office is currently located in Northern NJ, and my commute is 8 miles from home to the office. My department will be relocated to Central NJ and my commute will be 76 miles. I have been offered the same position so I was told that I could not get a severance package. There are people in my office who were let go and got severance package based on their years of service. Does anyone know if I am entitled to a package if I decide not to continue working for the company because my commute increases more than 50 miles? Thanks in advance for the help!

No you are not. You can ask for moving reimbursement.
