A contract for buyer's agent is absolutely unnecessary. It only protects agent's interest. Since you have signed the contract already, you need to write a letter to the agent to cancel the contract. Study the detail of the contract and ensure the cancellation is effective, since the agent may try to claim her commission even after you cancel it. The worst is wait for the contract expire. Be honestly, the agent play less and less role while buying house, since you spend much time in the internet to look for house yourself, so most agents agree to kick back some commission to you.
