Basically, being pregnant doesn't mean that you can't be laid off. Pregnant or not, there shouldn't be any difference treatment regarding you or other employees. The law forbids employers fire/lay off people because of pregnancy, but that doesn't mean they can't layoff pregnant women. In this economy, it's extremely hard to prove that your employee lay you off because of your pregnancy instead of other reasons, esp when people who are not currently pregnant are being laidoff as well. Just move on and get another job. Or stay home and enjoy your pregnancy.

A potential consequence of filing a lawsuit against your former employer is that you might have difficulty landing another job because no one wants to hire suit-happy people.
