I think that is OK. DOD guys called me and talked to me about 4 years ago when i was still a student. He asked me several questions about what I did in China. I was just an ordinary student, no greed card, not in sensitive major. I asked him why and he said it's just a normal talk, and it's not like what I think. He probably noticed that i was nervous. Nothing happened after the interview.
