"當您申請您的母親來探親時,您已經簽署一份文件(財務擔保)" -- not necessarily true. For B1/2, that document (財務擔保) is not required. (Some people provide it because they think it will make get visa easier.)

"美國有7%的人口沒有醫療保險,所以如果遇到重大醫療傷病,醫療費用就是由其他有保險的人來負擔," -- I thought it is taxpayer pays it. Not people with insurance.
"這就是為什麼美國醫療費用如此之高的主因. " -- I heard 醫療費用如此之高 reason is lawsuits ;-)
Another main reason is insurance company has bad investments.
