Lao Mao:
My friend started the divorce in 2007. base on income, her ex paid her $2K by order but he never paid in full and still backpay for $10K. her ex claimed disable in 2008 so the support went down to $1K. now, he is laid off and asked my friend to pay her $1k every month base on his lawyer's calculation. the child has 70% time with her. My friend would like to know how much possibility she will pay him by court. they're in CA. she will end up only $1K left which she can't survival with child if her ex is successful. Does court consider this situation as the hardship? which family code is related to this situation.
thanks for your time.
