事實上在大部份的州children under 14,除非有絕對的需要,一般無需在刑事案件上作證,當然如果您認為美國的司法系統"inhumane",那麼您不妨想想目前中國的司法系統對於這一方面仍然沒有任何成文法來規範,或許您會認為這是比較"人道"的法律系統... :-)

如果您有興趣老貓會建議您讀一下"Renée L. Rold", 所寫的
"All States Should Adopt Spousal Privilege Exception Statutes " (因為沒有得到作者同意,老貓不能轉載,不過網上應該可以找的到這篇文章,文中有許多東西值得我們深思.
