租车带人出去玩得法律问题

圣诞租车和学校的一些朋友出去玩1周，买了Loss Damage Waiver Full的保险，这个知管车，不管人，他们又不太愿意多花钱买National Protection Plus (NPP)，说是大家都有医疗保险。

这个车时以我的名义租下来的，也是我开。是不是需要和车里的其他人有个协议啥的，不然出了事故都找我要医疗费就破产了，即使就问我要那保险外30%我都付不起（以前看有心好带同学买菜，出了事情都有为钱翻脸的）。现在胆子越来越小了，呵呵。如果要个协议是如何操作的，写个免责声明(里面都该写些啥，有什么注意事项吗)，签个字就好了吗
