吃了 passer school bus 罚单

今天去小学校接孩子，开车走到学校门口，在马路的一边停了大约有五，六 辆校车，因为当时学校还没有下课，没有学生出来，所以就没有注意有没有车竖起stop的牌子。眼睛一直在看马路对面有没有停车位。（也可能其中有一辆竖起stop的牌子，我没注意到）就慢慢开了过去，随后就被警察抓住了。要下月上庭。请问上庭我该怎么为自己辩护，才能免掉，或减轻罪责，因为我确实不是有意的，如果被定罪后果严重吗。我在前三个月吃过二张超速的罚单会受影响吗。谢谢了
