When my hu*****and started to physically abuse me (before that he would brake dishes, furniture, etc.), I went to consult a divorce lawyer – I wanted to know what is my legal rights, I have to protect my dignity.

I came home and told him that the lawyer told me if he does this again (including brake dishes, furniture, etc.), I should call the police and I will.

And he never even brakes any dishes anymore. I thought he has anger control problem, after that I realized that he just wanted to control me at all cost!
