应该怎么办？

我的一位朋友和顾主发生矛盾， 把顾主告上EEOC. 顾主把他解雇了。他又重新找了一份工作。现在EEOC 回复他，那顾主没有错。现在他想到Federal Court 告那顾主。
现在有二个问题。
1． Federal Court Case 是public。这对他以后重新找工作是否会有影响？很多工作需要background check。
2． 如果他输了，那顾主是否可以反过来告他？
