From your question we can tell that you are not very bright. I am going to break this down.

1. Crime does not pay. However, not everybody agree. If he think that going to jail and hurting you worth the $2600, he will do it. It is simple economics.

2. You let him scam the money so you are some how responsible for your action. I dont think $2600 is worth the trouble to corner someone. He is not likely to pay you back.

3. You need learn from somewhere and somebody, and you did not learn.
