买房子问题，跪求高手指点

inspection结束，出了一份报告，里面包括sidewalk下陷，Retaining wall倾斜等内容。报告上的用语，是maintainance suggested。

于是让seller修好。今天收到seller律师的一封信，说home inspection contingency是基于defects,而这些不是defects. 所以对方要求我继续履行合同。

很窝火。请问各位过来人，如果我现在想退出，可以吗？这种情况要打官司吗？
