I talked to my agent about whether or not i should give them the limit. He said soon or later they would know it. another agent of my insurance company told me it doesn't matter that if the limit should be disclosed to other party. so after about three months i finally disclosed the limit to them.

about amount of payment asked, you may be right, my insurance company should not let me know the payment if it is below the limit. if the amount is exactly same as the limit, according to my agent, why did they file a lawsuit with me, not directly with insurance company?
