Just chill out. Frankly I would do the same if were in your position but legally you have no case. First, there is no damage. You can argue that you were injured emotionally but most times emotional stress would be allowed if you had real damage. Second, this is an obvious assault case but your opponent will raise consent as a defense because you told her "to blow". Third, considering you may spend a fortune for discovery/deposition/motions/trial and in the end the chance to get anything is very slim I would not recommend a case. You may talk to the DA about a criminal assault case but you still need to pass the consent defense.

Next time, I would get rid of the noise maker. Don't listen to HOA because it is not a legal authority. You can go to the court to file a nuisance claim if the dogs bark again.
