中国护照不到个6月就过期了, 还能回国吗?

人在美国, 下周4回国开会加看望父母, 刚发现中国护照今年12月就要过期了. 本人有绿卡. 但是美国移民局有规定, 进海关时, 持外国护照进关时, 护照有效期至少是6个月.

今天去中国领事馆问了, 现在中国护照一旦过期, 只能换新护照, 最快也要能等一个月.

现在发愁死了, 到底下周能回国吗? 移民局对绿卡持有人, 会对护照审察如此严格吗?
