You must be honest with the fact. There is no way to hide anything like this.

In theory if you don't fall into these cases then it should be fine: 1) CIMT (crime involving moral turpitude, like theft, domestic violence etc.), 2) max possible sentence of the offense is more than 1 year, or actual sentence is more than 6 month.
