The reason why people getting a non-pay HOA job is because of the power. People who like power, so make them feel the power and be regretful and apologetic. If they feel you are lease likely to repeat then you will likely to get away OK.

Your fault is likely to be parking your car at an unauthorized parking area. Next time, get their permission before doing that.
