samll车祸, 我没保险 get concelled by the later payment, 该怎么办呢？

我撞对方bumper,
对方的车子只是在bumper上有two samll punch by the license plate screw. 保险公司 dely because I forget pay the premium on time , dealer估价$500, 对方 will report to the policer,DMV and samll claim if I do not resort the case in two weeks.
I have three chioces

1, I can pay the bill, but feel 估价 too high.
2, Can I ask对方get another 修车铺 估价?
3, What will happen if I do not do anything?
