You got into a scamp!

Check you insurance policy, she wants some money, and if that amount is within your insurance medical payments coverage, talk to your insurance company and they are more than willing to help you.
If the scamp asks for more than that, which means you have to pay a lot out of your own pocket, talk to your insurance company anyway, you may have to find an attorney yourself for you.
