一般都是儿子

银行的共同账户绝大多数时候都是 joint tenancy. 所以父亲
死后钱就是儿子的了。 joint tenancy does not go through
probate, 不算遗产。 有人把 joint tenancy 叫 poor man's will 就是这个道理。

不过也有特例。 有的洲不承认 joint tenancy. 有时候开户头
的时候就写明了不是 joint tenancy. 要看具体情况。
