State of mind is that you are under the influence. Which is illegal as hell. Read instruction before you take the drug (illegal or not).

If I were you I would not fight this battle. You are not smart person, more you open your mouth, more you look guilty. Best way to deal with it is act apologetic and take the hit. Whatever in the court room can be worse than a ticket.
