门前挂满白色的厠纸条,是种族歧视?还是现今不好的大环境?

今早七点左右,女儿出门拍摄月亮(学校课题),看见前院挂满白色的厠纸条,她认为有人开玩笑,就将厠纸取下.我看见她抱了一大堆厠纸进门,就问明情况,到前院一看,还有很少一部分挂在树上,拍摄了几张照片.中国人知道,挂满白纸条是件不吉利的事.我们同邻居从没什么争执和密切来往,只是路上碰见,打声招呼.打电话给警察局,接电话的人认为不是什么大问题.在此,想请教各位,有什么好的主意.
