Check your insurance out anyway ...

Your auto insurance might cover this as many insurances do. Many auto insurance covers the insured as long as an automobile is involved in the accident, no matter if the insured is driving, biking, walking, or whatever. So check it with your insurance company.

But, if you do not have much damage to be recovered, just leave the hit and run to the police.
