请教关于child care expense的退税问题(form 2441)

我家老大去年上daycare用了3900刀,公司给了dependent care benefits 500刀.
是不是2441最多只让报3000刀,并且还要从3000刀里面扣除500刀,而不是从3900刀里面扣除500刀?
