请教好心人指点：

I had a record of being arrested because of misunderstanding
four years ago, but the case was dismissed right away without
going to court even.

will this affect my job searching, particularly, employment background check?

I have the letter from my lawyer saying the case was dismissed, should
I present to the employer? I am just afraid that they know this and
turn me down.
