rebate question, thanks for any suggestion or response

I bought a hard drive from buy.com with about $75 manufacturer rebate. now 3 months passed, i did not receive any rebate money yet.Have sent out several emails listed in the rebate form, but never got any answer. i sent request email to buy.com custom service, and they told me i should contact manufacture. But i only got email address from that manufacturer. Could anyone advise what i should do. should buy.com take any responsibility for it. i bought the product from them and paid them.

Acutally, this happened to me twice, the first time was rebate for the cooking utensile from bed, bath & beyond. I never receive rebate money and just give it up after several try. Does anyone have similar experience.
