When one want to 制服/征服 the other in a family, this family probably has no reason to exist. It doesn't matter you use 武力 or 法律 or 经济, the family is gone. So when he use 武力, you reply with 法律, it seems you can win back. In fact, both of you lost---the family. Whoever teach you to fight, it is to fight your family. OK, if you want just win between your two, then go ahead, there are many ways to win and hurt the other side. It is no of the business of us.
