回复：妈妈的医疗费怎么处理？

We are planning to apply for Green card for her. I sponsored her when she came here.

My mom does not have any income and Ｉam paying her expenses here. I explained the situation to the person who called this morning and also told her the age issue. We are trying to get the passport corrected then she might be covered by Medi-Cal. But the lady who called this morning said they need to get some payments before that and someone has to be responsible for that. She asked me for my name. I didn't tell her. She said:"Have a nice day! Byebye." and hang up. Apparently she was angry.

What should I do in this situation?

Currently I can pay this amount. But if I pay al medical bills for my parents, I could easily get into bankrupcy frenquently. I am a single mother and have a young child to take care. The father is not taking any responsibility.

Any advice would be appreciated.
